I had such a great experience here! The vibe was super chill and comfortable—perfect for focusing. I ended up getting eight hours of work done without even realizing it. I ordered a brown sugar latte, and it was delicious. The food was also really flavorful. Overall, a 10/10 spot for both getting things done and enjoying good coffee and bites!

This was our first time at Detour and we will be back. The cappuccino and latte were excellent. The BLT is big - made on focaccia and served with a large portion of fries and plenty for 2 hungry people. A steal at $12. We took the almond croissant to go since the BLT filled us up. The service was excellent and everyone was so friendly. The atmosphere is quiet and cozy.

If you're looking for a coffee shop with food that rivals fancy restaurants, PLEASE come here. I came on a Sunday so they had brunch (until 5pm btw), and got the short rib skillet hash, and my partner got the Baklawa Banana Pancake and my life has been changed forever. The short rib was SO tender, it came with some nice thick cut bread, toasted to perfection with a nice egg on top. The Balkawa Banana Pancake was literally a Pan-Cake. Thick, fluffy, with an amazing crust (tasted like honey, pistachios, and cinnamon) that must have been hand crafted in a cave with scraps because it was amazing. I'm a cold coffee person but I regret not getting a hot Habibi Latte. If you like good food and good vibes this is your spot. 10/10, no notes.

Excellent customer service. They were friendly and polite. I love their London fog (new). I have a chocolate croissant. It was delicious, but wish they warmed it up for me. I also had a free bag of popcorn. Many young people came here. They were nice and fun too.

I LOVE Detour Coffee! Their food and drinks are both excellent. As wonderful as Northside Social is down the street, the food at Detour is much better, so I choose to visit whenever I'm in the neighborhood. They have a great vibe inside with lots of seating and outlets, as well as a great outdoor seating area for the warmer months. The staff is also incredibly kind! On top of their wonderful food and drinks, Detour stays open until 2am during Ramadan and offers Suhoor specials. I am not Muslim nor do I celebrate Ramadan, but I do celebrate the season of Detour being open until 2am! Finally, Detour is Palestinian-owned and often hosts events to benefit Palestine. This cause is close to my heart, and I love to support a local Palestinian-owned business! As a note for the owners, I only have one suggestion for improvement: It can be difficult to figure out when certain food is being served, specifically the sandwiches on the board above the counter. I would love if you could post on the website what time each menu is served! I would also love if I could order sandwiches at dinner time. I often come to Detour to work in the evenings after work, and the sandwiches are so delicious that I'm often sad when I am told to order from a different menu!

One of those perfect places you decide to make your living room outside your house. Please fix the security certificate issue on your awesome free WiFi. Unapologetic justice supporting establishment. Amazing food and menu, big variety of coffee and tea, serves breakfast brunch lunch and dinner. Many seating arrangements, some with large tables some with small, plugs available. Prices not cheap but not egregious, and 150% worth it, to find a place where you can spend money to repair a tiny amount of your humanity that is being chomped and whacked day in and day out. The ez pass sand which was heavenly, amazing layers of soft bread, meat and cheese. The empanada was well balanced with the side salad.

Wandered into this place because I needed some caffeine and was so pleasantly surprised! Beautiful space, great ambiance, and super friendly service. My strawberry matcha was perfect — you could tell the matcha was high quality and the strawberry puree was homemade. Perfectly balanced! They have a ton of intriguing food on their menu that I can’t wait to come back and try!

Among the best places in the region. The name of the place doesn't do it justice because it's way more than just a coffee shop; it's also a great restaurant. The Falafel Smash Burger and seasoned fries were to die for. Just the right kind of moist, excellent texture, savory glazed bread. I hear the massive hunk of baklava is delicious so I'll get that next time. Not to mention the upbeat progressive vibes and genuinely friendly stuff.
